Kay Sharbono is the newest member of Faithful Crossings, but she is certainly no stranger to Southern Gospel music! Kay learned to sing harmony at an early age while singing with her parents, the Roberson Family Singers. She grew up in Southern Missouri and attended a small country church and knows almost all the songs in the old Heavenly Highways Hymnal. According to her, it’s still the best song book available.
Kay has sang in various groups over the years, and while singing with Forever His Quartet, had the opportunity to share the stage with the Mark Trammel Quartet and the Blackwood Brothers. Kay loves the old fashioned southern gospel and bluegrass sounds which bring together beautiful harmonies, while sharing songs of hope and salvation. She is a very talented songwriter and is currently working on a solo CD that will be available at the Faithful Crossings concerts in 2021!
Kay and her husband, LeRoy live in Smithville, MO, and enjoy spending time with their family. She teaches 4th grade, and is still involved with her worship team at her home church, so she stays very busy. Kay would love it if you would ask her about her new grandbaby!! That is a topic she could spend hours talking about!!
